In summer 2019, I began volunteering in the concept space / café at the YMCA Zurich. As a volunteer, I greeted our guests and offered them refreshments.
The first time I had an office at Cevi Zentrum Glockenhof was in 1991. I helped to shape the work of the YMCA/YWCA, first as a youth worker for the YMCA/YWCA Region of Greater Zurich, and later as an employee of the YMCA/YWCA Switzerland and its department "Mut zur Gemeinde" (rough translation: "encouraging fellowships"). After taking a year off work, it is now my pleasure to support the YMCA/YWCA Zurich as supervisor and contact person for our volunteer staff. During the past year, my wife Marianne and I further developed our couples' counselling service, marriage.coaching, as an integrated offer of the YMCA/YWCA Zurich.
I love to work with people. I find it fascinating to hear news from all around the world, from different sources and to compare them. I also enjoy hiking and riding my bicycle.
Walking with Jesus for me means learning to let go of my caution and encounter people openly. It would be my pleasure to meet you.
