Adrian Künsch-Wälchli
Co-General manager, 70%
Almost every day, I step into our club house, push open the massive entrance doors and wonder what will happen today. No two days are the same, and I embrace that. For the most part, these unforeseen encounters are at the core of our work: Encounters and relationships with people of all ages and walks of life.
What you might not see from the outside is how many hours we invest in relationships with all of the people around us, even if it's not within a defined offer or project. Big and small stories and encounters that happen between people, and can't be neatly summarised into an end-of-year review. Prayers and contacts that happen because of our faith in God and people, and because we try our best to live out our faith in charity. That's what thrills me about our work.
Julia Möckli
Assistant manager and coordinator of Armenia partnership, 40%
In the middle of the hectic center of Zurich, we want to create an oasis where people can be accepted for who they are.
In Armenia, where we've had a partner YMCA for the past 15 years, they say that every guest is a gift from God. This is my conviction as well, and I always find it fascinating to see what people God sends to our house.

Administrative manager of Gloggespiel, 30%
We don't just want to create a fun space for children to play and have a good time - we want to invest in parents as well. We want our actions to show people the love of God. I couldn't do my job without His love and wisdom.
Zuzana Markovà
EVS-Volunteer, 80%
My name is Zuzana, and I come from city Olomouc in Czech Republic. There I am part of the YMCA organization, through which I participate in various activities such as marriage encounters where I help with babysitting. I am thankful for this opportunity to volunteer in Cevi and become a part of this amazing team here, learn new things, travel around this beautiful country and get to know myself a little bit better. Whole Cevi team was very welcoming and kind to me as soon as I came and took me in immediately, for which I would like to thank them very much.

I love to work with people. I find it fascinating to hear news from all around the world, from different sources and to compare them. I also enjoy hiking and riding my bicycle.
Walking with Jesus for me means learning to let go of my caution and encounter people openly. It would be my pleasure to meet you.
Shaliko Sahakyan
EVS-volunteer, 100 %
My name is Shaliko and I come from Armenia. Before I joined Cevi Zürich, I worked at the YMCA Spitak. I was already familiar with the organization and I was very excited to have the great opportunity to participate in Cevi Zurich activities as a volunteer. I feel really happy here at Cevi Zürich and it was very easy for me to fit in because the people at Cevi are very nice and welcoming. This year has been life-changing for me and I have Cevi to thank for that.

While playing with each other, even the smallest children will learn how to treat others in a group. It's inspiring to see children interacting with each other so naturally, and to accompany them a little way on their journey of growing up.
"We believe God can do great things, we believe people can do great things, and we believe we can do great things" (Motto of the YMCA/YWCA) -- this describes exactly what I want to live out in my day-to-day dealings with people young and old -- always keeping in mind to have confidence in people's abilities, and support them where needed.
