Mission statement


«The YMCA/YWCA Zurich is an open Christian community in the heart of downtown Zurich.

With our activities, which are open to all people, we want to help connect people to each other and to the Christian faith.

Our goal is to approach people holistically, that is, to speak to their bodies, hearts and souls.»


Support our work!

Donate some of your time, your finances,  your belongings.

We're a non-profit organisation, our work is dependent on donations.

We are certified by ZEWO, the Swiss certification authority for charities, making your donation tax-deductible.

Our committed volunteers make our many activities possible and help us extend our opening times.

Item donations in good condition (clothes, furniture, cutlery, ...) help keep the offers in our shop and flea market new and exciting, and let us hold our Christmas market  every year as a fundraising event.

Help us to continue our work, offer community activities and be there for the people who need it!
